I swear I will work on making this morass of text more navigable. But for now, peer into my deranged mind in between sleep stages.

Imagine my surprise when, at the end of “Donnie Darko” (see ‘03 May 07) is this slow, piano version of “ Mad World” performed by Gary Jules (originally done by Tears for Fears) Can we say, blast to the past, trying to relive my adolescence?

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying
Are the best I’ve ever had

A year has passed since I wrote my note
but I should have known this right from the start
only hope can keep me together
love can mend your life
but love can break your heart

Lord. I really am trapped in the ‘80’s. Rescue me before I fall into despair.
