I'm not really all that mysterious

Untangling a Cassette Tape

Lessons I learned from untangling a cassette tape:

It’s a lot like life: sometimes you have an ingenious plan, with a goal, a method, and all that rational stuff. Sometimes you just have to pull everything out and start all over again. Sometimes it’s just tedious turning of the wheels, up until the next kink (which can be seen either as a problem, or as a puzzle to solve.) Sometimes inexplicable luck (or God?) gets the kinks out, particularly when you’re about ready to give up. Sometimes, you need other people to help you put it back right.

And when I realized that life is all of these, sometimes all at once, I got really dizzy and had to lie down.
