Old Music
Old music now appears to be more popular than new music, but it relies entirely on how you define old music.

So, yeah, apparently “old music” is definied as “music older than 18 months”.
Basically the last 18 months of music sold 118.5 million albums while the preceding 60+ years of music (depending on whether you’re counting from when the first LP was released or when the word “album” came to mean “long-playing gramophone record”) sold 122.8 million albums.
I do not think this means what you think it means.
The irony is that every time this post shows up on my newsfeed, a Justin Bieber song gets stuck in my head.
