I still had the $2 umbrella ﾐA彡 and I had bought in NYC which we never ended up using in the back of my trunk. I opened it and it seemed to be fine, but an errant gust of wind made it go inside-out, twisting and shattering the ribs of the umbrella. So much for that.

So I went for my usual lunch time walk protected from the rain only by my jacket, my scarf, and a beanie. Other than my pants and my shoes and socks, I actually stayed fairly dry.

I made it to Walgreens where they had marked up umbrellas to an insane level, $15 for the cheapest. Hopefully this one won’t twist and shatter as well.

I definitely need better shoes.

But it sure is wet out there.
