I still remember this specific episode when I finally figured out what song Dario G had sampled for his track “Sunchyme”.

I was sitting in a McDonald’s in Lake Bluff, IL¹, sometime between January 26, 2001 (the day that Energy 92.7 & 5 went on the air) and July 2002 (which is when I moved from North Chicago, IL to Wicker Park in Chicago) and eating a Sausage McMuffin. Strange the random details I remember.

Archimedes figured out fluid displacement, but I have to content myself to discovering who sampled whom.

Which is completely a useless endeavor now that Shazam and WhoSampled exist.
