It’s kind of bizarre that Facebook has juxtaposed posts by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Cracked.com, both of whom are predicting chronic civil unrest in the U.S. #algorithms

So in the process of converting old handrolled blog entries to Jekyll I stumbled upon a song from a Rainbow Brite cassette tape that my sister listened to over and over and over again when we were kids and which subsequently embedded itself into my skull.

How did this all begin? That's probably too much to figure out in one night, particularly one where I'm at work. I'll just pick at a single thread in the tapestry. Eventually it'll all unravel.

Once upon a time, I randomly blogged about NASA’s study about the effects of prolonged bedrest, something I would’ve totally participated in if I hadn’t been in med school at the time, but apparently one of the test subjects has her own blog.

Something as innocuous as a touch on the shoulder… "We missed you the other day." words and gestures that I want to take out of context, to launch me off in a daydream, hopelessly fantastic wishes.

Schizophrenia. Maybe I do need to be on medication.
