Pragmatism
Surrender to the status quo is a shitty campaign platform that isn’t going to get people to vote1
You may feel morally superior for being “pragmatic” but people won’t care if you’re not going to help them2
Politics that lacks any aspiration for change isn’t realism. It’s cynicism. A quest for power for the sake of power, nothing more.3
The danger is convincing voters that since there’s no hope for change anyway, we may as well hasten the end of our corrupt and broken system4
And let’s face it, a vote for Cruz or for Trump will hasten the end as expediently as possible5
I honestly don’t understand people who think “Everyone does it!” is some kind of moral justification for anything. 6
