I'm not really all that mysterious

Pragmatism

Surrender to the status quo is a shitty campaign platform that isn’t going to get people to vote1

You may feel morally superior for being “pragmatic” but people won’t care if you’re not going to help them2

Politics that lacks any aspiration for change isn’t realism. It’s cynicism. A quest for power for the sake of power, nothing more.3

The danger is convincing voters that since there’s no hope for change anyway, we may as well hasten the end of our corrupt and broken system4

And let’s face it, a vote for Cruz or for Trump will hasten the end as expediently as possible5

I honestly don’t understand people who think “Everyone does it!” is some kind of moral justification for anything. 6

Rhyme Saves

Funny how a song can pull me back in time.

Lenny Kravitz • Again

I’m remembering someone I haven’t seen in a very long time. I think they really did run into me in the nick of time. I never got a chance to let them know how much their friendship meant to me.

The longer it goes, the more I know there wasn’t any other way it could’ve gone, but no matter what, they still saved me.
